Dating and Sex
In today?s day and age there are so many people who are dating for the wrong reason. There are two types of people who get involved with dating. There are the ones who want to try and meet a partner for a relationship, and there are the ones who have nothing on their mind but sex. Even though there is nothing wrong with having sex on your mind, you have to take this very seriously if you expect to move forward in the right direction. The fact of the matter is that if you rush forward and do not take your time, you may end up running into some major problems down the road. Believe it or not, there are many dangers involved with moving on too quickly to sexual activity. Because of this, you need to be informed of the dangers and risks that you are up against.
One of the most difficult things about dating is when you should take the next step. You may be having a great time with somebody but are not really sure when you should move things onto a more sexual level. If you find yourself in this position you are not alone. The bottom line is that this is a problem that many people run into on a regular basis. The main issue with this problem is that there is no cut and dry answer. What is right for one couple may not be right for another. This means that you will have to make up your own mind as to when you move onto the next step.
As a general rule of thumb, you should not move onto any sexual relations until both parties are 100 percent comfortable with it. If you are ready to move on but your partner is not, you should simply slow down until they are comfortable. Pushing somebody into doing something that they are against is not going to get you anywhere. When you do this you will be putting up barriers between you and your partner.
When you decide to engage in sexual activity too early you are playing with fire. First off, you could get yourself into trouble as far as your health is concerned. Even if you think that you know somebody, there is no way of being sure that they are free of sexually transmitted diseases. And if that is not enough to worry about, you should also be concerned with ruining your relationship. Remember, when you take your relationship to a sexual level things are going to change. And if you are not ready for these changes you may end up ruining a good thing.
It is alarming to hear about how many first dates end in sex. Not only is this a dangerous habit, but it can also ruin an otherwise fun evening. There is no reason that your entire date should be based around whether or not it ends with sexual relations.
Overall, dating and sex go hand in hand. The problem with this is that so many people are having sex before they are ready. Instead of rushing into things, why not take your time and let your relationship develop? If you do this you will be much better off from the start.
